Bio

Dallas has been viewing the world through a camera for as long as he can remember.

After a successful career in the fashion industry he decided to make his passion his livelihood when he joined Croydon Studios. As a freelancer he has subsequently amassed a portfolio of work for clients including L’Oreal and Women’s Health magazine as well as portraits of comedian Rhys Darby, All Black Conrad Smith, golfer Michael Campbell and Olympic gold medalists Barbara Kendall, and Georgina and Caroline Evers-Swindell. Some of his favourite photo opportunities in the last couple years have been the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and travels to Cuba and Mexico.

Now the only other distraction that competes for his time is his work as a FIBA International Basketball referee. Needless to say, his camera accompanied him when he refereed at the Athens Olympics in 2004, Melbourne Commonwealth Games in 2006, and tournaments in Europe and Asia.

If he could have photographed any moment in history it would have been the first ever Barnum & Bailey Circus.
